First of all, let me thank you for visiting my site and please sign my guestbook. I look forward to receiving feedback every once in a while. My main interests are aviation photography and computers, both of which I’m no expert at but strive to improve and learn. I guess my first experience with aviation that made an impression on me was a flight to Holland when a was a wee child. Whether it was the size of the DC-8 we were on or maybe just the blonde flight attendants, I’m not sure, but I was hooked. My Dad used to take me for a drive to Toronto’s Pearson Int’l Airport occasionally to see the airplanes land and takeoff and that too left it’s mark. I’ve always been interested in not only aircraft, but everything from airport operations to air traffic control. I bought a base scanner at first to listen in on the controllers and pilots and then bought a portable and ventured out to see them in action, with my camera in hand of course. Air Shows are also an interest of mine and I’ve been to as many as I have time and the money for. Here are some Air Shows I’ve been too:
Batavia Air show · Batavia, NY Brantford Air Show · Brantford, ON Cleveland Air Show · Cleveland, OH Dayton Air Show · Dayton, OH Hamilton Int’l Air Show · Mount Hope, ON Geneseo Air Show · Geneseo, NY Kalamazoo Air Show · Kalamazoo, MI London Int’l Air Show · London, ON Lindsay Air Show · Lindsay, ON Seafair Air Show · Seattle, WA Selfridge Air Show · Selfridge ANG, MI Thunder Over Niagara Air Show · Niagara Falls, NY Toronto Int’l Air Show · Toronto, ON Trenton/Quinte Int’l Air Show · Trenton, ON Willow Run Air Show · Belleville, MI I’m a member of Airliners Int’l Toronto and have displayed my pictures at their collectables shows. My pictures can also be viewed at Airliners.net and Planepictures.net I’m not strictly interested in Commercial Airliners. I like Warbirds, Rotary Wing, Military, Aerobatic, Civilian, Experimental, etc. Due to my job, I mostly see commercial airliners and freighters. I’m lucky enough to work at Hamilton Int’l Airport which is Home to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. If you’re ever in the southern Ontario area, I think it’s well worth the trip to their new state of the art facility. They have one of only two flying examples of the Avro Lancaster bomber in the world. Believe me, you never get tired of hearing the roar of four Rolls Royce Merlin Engines doing what they do best. I’m currently employed as Operations Manager with Glanford Aviation Services Limited at Hamilton Int’l. They are a full service Fixed Based Operator, the largest and finest at Hamilton. I enjoy the job even though we sometimes struggle through nasty Canadian winters. I meet pilots from all over the world and see quite the range of aircraft makes and models. When I began work at Hamilton Airport, it was for Hamilton Air Services Ltd. who were the ground handlers for the now defunct Nationair Airlines. Needless to say that didn’t last long and I moved on. So my interest has grown along with my photo albums. I hope you enjoy the photos I’ve posted and please take a moment to sign my guestbook. Please come again.
