The True PD Savage - World War II: Nazi Skirmish - G5 GridWorld War II: Nazi Skirmish [The True PD Savage]

Basic Idea:
Constant gunfire. So much action should be going on that gunfire begins to barely concern the player, since odds are in favor of it being directed towards another soldier. Gunshots should be the soundtrack. Moreover, to back up the World War II feel, there is a trench to hop into for cover, snipers, foot soldiers, a bridge to hold, and World War II type weaponry.

Important Note on teams:
If you want to play this one player, use this team setup, because Player 2's controller must be used for placing German soldiers. If you want to play this as a two player game, just delete the Normal CowardSim (Sim 1).

Setup (pretty quick!):
As soon as the game starts, use both controllers to tell all teammates to "Protect" or "Hold." Just try to separate them. A few people will die (maybe 5 or so) while trying to get them apart, but don't let it worry you - it is nothing to the choas that will soon be taking place. Use the German commander (player 2) to lead all of the German soldiers into the big room with sniper towers. Now use the "Hold" command to position each NormalSim in one of the Sniper towers, facing the entrances. Use the "Defend" command to tell the CowardSim to stand on the sniper rifle on the middle island (he is a footsoldier to watch the sniper's backs).

Note: In a two player game, player two replaces the footsoldier on the island. He is allowed to go anywhere in the room, just like he was on "Defend."

If this is going to be a 1 player game (how it works best), then use player 2's controller to run him into the American firing squad, where ever they happen to be huddled around player 1. Now leave player two dead for the rest of the game. Player 1 should set all soldiers to "Protect," until he can take some sniper towers. The following are the mission objectives for the commander (player 1):

American Objectives:
Objective 1: Clear the bridge area of any snipers and footsoldiers.
Objective 2: Command each American soldier to Hold a sniper's tower.
Objective 3: Hold off wave after wave of German soldier's trying to take their bridge back.

These are the computer's objectives (they follow these perfectly!):
German Objectives:
Objective 1: Hold off invading American forces.
Objective 2: Should Objective 1 fail, bring in reinforcements to retake the bridge.

Don't worry too much about your soldiers being killed - reinforcements will be sent in on an as needed basis, and they will use the intelligence radioed back to go straight back for their sniper tower.

Tips:
-If you duck halfway down in a sniper tower, other snipers have trouble hitting you.
-Don't try to outsnipe a German sniper. Rush his tower from behind, and crouch down while climbing the ladder. Then sneak up and knock him down with a Magnum or Shotgun blast at point blank range. Don't forget to tell one of your soldiers to "Hold" the tower after you take the German out!
-From a sniper tower, it can be tough to decide who is with which army, thanks to all of the fighting going on. Use the scope on a MagSec, K7, or Sniper Rifle to determine who is who before letting off a shot. Or, you can use the CMP150's highlight feature to determine who is on which team.
-After dying, run straight back to the main room. There will be plenty of dropped weapons to pick up, and there are no shields in the level to get. Just keep the action going!
