1910's Perhaps
Under Construction!
Delphia Croskey and Leo Lorson's misc childhood Pictures might go here?
This is Leo Lorson's Burton City School Picture,
and his sister and brother, Anna and Albert,
are also in this picture! (abt 1914) Ref: Also, A Larger View in the Lorson Photo Album (Next Page)
Delphia Croskey is the tall girl with black hair
in the the back on the right (abt 1918)
Delphia Croskey's parents did move to Burton City, Ohio
and according to Delphia, and her daughter, Dorothy, when she
(Delphia)
was about 10 yrs old, her parents moved their current family
to a log cabin in Burton City. The log cabin is no longer there,
and no picture, currently, in any photo album,
that I or any family member have located, yet.
Delphia also recalls moving around quite a bit,
so she only had a 6th grade education, or
in other words, she quit school at the age of 12 yrs old.
Now, how did she meet Leo, (presumably from school).
Leo Lorson was born on April 23, 1902.
Delphia was born on Dec 1, 1908.
So, at least in 1914-1920, they may have went
to Burton City School together, a few years.
More History will be added!
Delphia's parents were Sylvester Croskey, and Belinda Arnold
Croskey.
Leo's parents were Michael Lorson and Regina Lapus Lorson.
Delphia and Leo were married in 1924.
Their daughter, Dorothy Marie Lorson, was born February 9, 1925
Their daughter, Lucille Ann Lorson, was born April 29, 1927.
Delphia, also, had a miscarriage during her third pregnancy.
Her recollection, states, she tripped and fell on a clothes
basket while hanging clothes. She fell on her stomach, and
it caused the miscarriage.
