In 1999, a local ordinance was passed that prohibits smoking in public places, even privately owned business and service establishments - with few exceptions such as casinos, bars, etc. (and even those have some strings attached.)
Now that the law has been in place for a while, I'd like to hear from you about how it has affected you - as a business owner/operator, as a citizen, as a smoker, as a non-smoker....

How has the ban on smoking in public and private businesses affected you?

"I'm glad they have banned smoking in public places. I don't know how many times we've had to leave a restaurant because the smoke never actually stayed in the smoking section. It's hard for me to enjoy a meal while choking on second-hand smoke."
