This was Central Avenue, looking to the east. This photo, date undetermined, was taken from a position which shows a circular pond where the Civic Center now stands. Although somewhat obscure, if you look closely you can see the trolley car in the middle of the avenue and the tracks leading into the foreground. I apologize for the "squiggles" in the photo - it is a result of my having straightened, or leveled, the photo file that I had. I don't know who took this photograph nor do I recall from where it was obtained.
