The steel body was disassembled, media blasted, primed and painted in an automotive quality teal green metallic finish. The color is not matched to the original but similar to Tonka's Model 04. Click here to see the Model 04 in the 1959 Tonka Look Book. The stake racks easily remove from the bed. This truck is presented as a CUSTOM because of the color and dually rear wheels. All else is correct for a 1959 Tonka truck. Reproduction parts include the door decals, windshield, chromed bumper and grille, tires (outside on rear dually), whitewalls and chromed wheelcovers. There is some extremely minor pitting on the hood. At arms length, you'll not see it. The trailer is correct for the year with the smaller hole in the tang to fit over the hook below the truck's bed. Reproduction parts on the trailer include the tires, whitewalls and wheelcovers. The trailer end gates fit FIRMLY and I recommend not removing them. Price $185.00
