The DeSalle collection also includes pickup trucks although the box van seems to be the more popular configuration. Issued in 1997, Don's bright red Tonka 1956 Ford Steiff® pickup was limited to a production run of 1500 units. The trucks are not serial numbered as was typical of the other trucks Desalle manufactured. The bear has a special tag indicating the serial number. A certificate of authenticity was also included. The bear was boxed and included with the truck by the dealer. Truck and bear were sold exclusively through Steiff® dealers. Suggested retail for the combo was $550 USD,
