Presented for your viewing pleasure are two very nice examples of Desalle's work. These collectibles are modeled after two different years of the Tonka "Big Mike" Dual Hydraulic Dump Truck. The original Tonka versions command very high prices in the collector market and Desalle's limited offerings are no exception. There were 300 units of each year manufactured by Desalle. Note the unique packaging. There was no certificate of authenticity issued with the truck.
Value: A 1956 Big Mike, serial number 259, mint condition with its box, sold on eBay for $471 USD in early November 2007.
