My name is Wanda Aucoin and I'm from South Louisiana. I'm delighted to be a part of the Green Ribbon Group and I'm eager to become acquainted with everyone. I hope to become an asset to the group.

My interest in the civil rights of members of the adoption triad stemmed from my brother-in-law's search for birth relatives. Once I began helping him with his search, I truly realized for the first time what searching adoptees and their families were up against.

I believe that this group can bring about much needed and long overdue changes to our antiquated system through education and public awareness regarding issues of the adoption triad. I'm very pleased to be a part of that.

I will try to guide you through the maze of Louisiana adoption laws. You will also find a page for adoption support on the internet and locally. I am also working on putting together a page of Louisiana links that I feel are important.
