Please get prepared to write letters and send emails to your state delegates and senators. Hopefully, more of our members will be able to testify in the hearings this year. I'll keep you up to date on what is happening with this bill and any others that may be introduced that will be of particular interest to those working for adoption reform in Maryland.

Email letters are good, too. Get as many of your family members, friends, neighbors, etc., to write too. You do NOT have to be a registered voter in Maryland to have an opinion. Always be respectful. With regard to HB 185, we will be asking that the members of the House Judiciary Committee vote favorably on this bill. It is always helpful to give your reasons for supporting the proposed legislation.
