My name is Robert G Schultz III aka Bob and I am the new Wisconsin coordinator. I am a reunited adoptee of 8 years (in Illinois) and only recently sought and found my birthfather due to birthmom's request that she find him. That never took place so I took it upon myself. My search for birthmom took three days after I got a name, (pre internet) and it took two weeks for birthdad with the internet. So much for technology.

I have been active in assisting others searching since locating birthdad on 4/4/00. I brought on some reunions, and pointed others in new directions. Through the AIML list, I met one of the GRC members, offered assistance, and made a new friend. Hence my knowledge of this group.

I signed on the mailing list, submitted "The Bob Con" to the web master, and shortly after was hit up to become a coordinator. I tossed the idea around for some time, then after I read a letter from a birthmother, thought the best way to help others in search/reunions was to open the files.

So, here I am. A rookie to the political end of open records, but well versed in searching and the walls put in front of all adoptee's.
