My name is Nancy Horgan and I met my adopted away son on July 19, 1989...almost 11 years ago. I have been politically active regarding open records in Rhode Island for a decade. We have made small improvements but will not stop until the stranglehold is loosened on adopted citizens. I want ALL of my children to enjoy the same rights. Also I was a professional seamstress in regional theatre for many years and am currently working in marine canvas. I spend a lot of time at this computer sending email letters to our state wide newspaper: The Providence Journal, in support of Adult Adoptee Access to state held birth records.
