Make your best way to Bryan. If coming from the north on HWY 6,
you will exit and turn left onto Tabor Rd. If coming from the south on HWY 6, you'll
exit and turn right. There will be SCA signs at the exit.
It's 3.5 miles up the road from the stoplight right after you exit Hwy 6 at
Tabor/FM 974. 2.6 miles up FM 974 is an Exxon and an intersection with FM
2223. Right after that is where Dilly Shaw Tap Road turns off to the right.
Lilly Dairy is further up that road. If people cross a little bridge over a
creek, they've gone too far. The dairy has a smallish white sign that says
"Lilly Dairy Pavillion". There is a large white mailbox with the number
5878, but it is hard to read. The twin silos of the actual dairy farm are
off to the left when you turn in....
We have lots of activities scheduled throughout the day. These range from heavy and light fighting to
archery and A&S. Below is a better description of each.
Armoured Combat:
We will have a pas de' arms style tourney. You make the challenge, you select the weapons and style...
our gallery selects the winner. "Bonus" points will be granted for authentic armour. Please do your best to cover exposed
plastic and non-period materials. The gallery can impose "handicaps" at their discretion (ie...singing while fighting,
fighting with off hand, etc)
Prize: small custom-made damascus bladed knife
Archery:
Wartime combat!
Archery will be a combat-archery event. Limited loaner gear will be available.
To better simulate the war atmosphere, we will have audience participation...bring your noisemakers. How good is your concentration?
Can you shoot in a sea of noise and screaming? We'll find out!
Prize: Large damascus period broadhead.
Light Combat:
To be determined.
Prize: A nice textured fabric and fur trimmed fighting cape.
A&S:
