Howdy!

These links will take you to the knife pages. I began putting knife kits together almost 15 years ago. I then started making my own creations from any metal available and began reading up on metallurgy and knifemaking. As a highschool student, I easily became distrated with other things and put the knifemaking aside. While in college, I picked it back up. I had many resources available to me and a much better understanding of proper metallurgy. I began making stock removal knives and limited forged pieces (using a rosebud tip on a welding rig as a heat source). I now have a couple coal forges, a propane forge, several electric furnaces and am finishing up a propane crucible melting furnace to melt medium carbon steel in addidtion to non-ferrous alloys. For knife blade material...My father's files have now been replaced with forged billets of pattern welded steel and the finished products are far superior to those early ones! These links are to the various blades I have made. The earliest are kind of crude, but it's nice to look back at where we started to understand how far we have come!
