The Accommadations:

Bring your tent and sleeping bag & plan to camp in the yard, terrace or woods. If you require maid service, nearby Parkersburg has every chain of motel known to suburban America. Limited indoor crash space at the house. The house has 3 toilets & showers. Bring solar showers if you have them. We'll pass the hat for Porta-John funds if needed.

Food:

Think camping and BYOE - everything. Refrigerator and freezer space is limited. Pizza delivery, Chinese take out, nearby grocers and fast food chains can provide all the comfort foods of home. Any kitchen mess you make, you clean.

Directions:
Look at a Map. I cannot help you if you do not do this.

Via Interstate: From I-77, take Parkersburg/Camden Ave exit 173for WV 95. (WV 95 is south of I-77 exit for WV 50). Take 95 West. 95 will take a LEFT at Family One Carpet and a RIGHT at Kmart, so keep going with it until the end. At a light 95 ends and you turn LEFTonto WV 68 South toward Point Pleasant (and it is). *** You'll barely get up to speed on 68 before you must turn RIGHT at the Citgo and Lake Washington Road. ^^^ Take those Lake Washington curves slow and then you can cruise a decent straightaway. When Lake Washington makes a sharp right turn, you instead turn LEFT onto Smitherman Road. Then its more treacherous curves. When Smitherman makes a sharp left, you see a Hy View Terrace sign and go STRAIGHT up a hill. Because that's how you get to a Hy View Terrace. After passing 2 rights and house #40, turn LEFT onto the court end of Hy View. 29 Hy View Terrace will be the dark brick/tan vinyl house of your left in the court.

Via OH Route: From OH 7 near Belpre, take exit for Parkersburg Rt 50 East (and others). Pass Memorial Bridge. At light, turn LEFT for Rt 50 East and Parkersburg. You'll crossover the Ohio River bridge into WV. Be in the right hand lane at the bottom of the bridge. At light, see sign for WV 68 South and turn RIGHT onto it. Speeding away from Parkersburg you'll cross a bridge over the Little Kanawah River. Here WV 68 South is a 4 lane, 64 mph road for a few miles. At a light, WV 892 continues straight, so you turn LEFT to stay on WV 68 toward Point Pleasant. Directions continue at *** above.

Via WV Scenic Route: From I-64 near Huntington, take exit 15 or 18 for WV 60 Barbourville. Take WV 60 West (yes, West) thru the shopping district toward Huntington. At light turn RIGHT onto WV 2 North toward Point Pleasant and Ravenswood. Approaching Ravenswood veer away from WV 2 unless you desparately feel the need for I-77 speed. Veer toward Ravenswood and signs to WV 68 North toward Parkersburg. Take WV 68 North through Belleville (blink) and Lubeck (blink, blink). Soon after the BB&T and Lubeck Elementary School, see a Citgo on your left. Turn LEFT onto Lake Washington Road. Directions continue at ^^^ above.

SHOP PICS

Here's some basic pics looking through the shop at different
angles. A massive hammer and file collection...and a set of
huge steel balls even a Texan would be jealous of!

Continuing the tour.....
Some welding equipment, an entire row of various drill
presses, and a pretty spiffy little metal lathe!br>

But wait....there's more:
Here's a home-built power hammer. Nice job!
Maybe armour-in attendees will get to be the
first to scratch up that purty paint job!
