In this pic, this one isn't quite finished (Those of you who are observant will notice the tang has not been peened over the pommel cap yet). It is completed, but does not have a period sheath, it only has a plain leather sheath. The wood is Zircote (...OK, not exactly a period wood...) and the blade is 1022/1095 composite (upper 1022 steel section forge welded to 1095 high carbon steel edge). The gaurd and pommel are copper. The gaurd has silver inlay. The blade is about 1/8" thick and 7" long. This one has a real nice feel to it and will certainly catch some glances from friends!
