This one is a composite blade with the upper being 1022, and the lower 1095. I messed with the billet a little to create the wavy weld line. This one's a hair over 1/8" thick with a 5" blade. The wood is French walnut.This is a beautiful wood. it gets a mirror finish with just a buff. I did not have a single block large enough to do a one piece handle. Instead, I used two slabs, lined up the grain and glued them together into a single block. The seam is hardly noticeable. I will try and add a couple more pics tomorrow.
