Xbox

Xbox: they promise great things. Nvidia, 733mhz, and 8GB hard drive. What is this? A Living Room PC? It’s supposed to be a gaming console. Plus both Sony and Microsoft boast unrealistic numbers that are definitely not real time and that we will never see in a game. They have some good game scheduled (Halo, MGS2, Odd World, The Matrix). But be realistic, will any of those give you the shelf life that Goldeneye and Perfect Dark did. Although Perfect Dark blows Goldeneye out of the water, who doesn’t pop in their Goldeneye cartridge once in a while just to cap some Russian terrorists. Why dish out $400 for an Xbox and two decent games, when you could dish out four hundred and get A Gamecube with four of the best games (Either Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Waverace, or Perfect Dark) The choice seems clear to me.–insights by Chris B.
