The Project

For several weeks me, Tom Padalino, and Andrew Kongs have been trying to fix a dead iMac that I found in the computer lab my mother works in. The iMac is in great shape except for the fact that it doesn't work. We have tried almost everything to get it to work. My mother said that if I can fix it than I can have the iMac since it would cost more to get it fixed than the whole thing is worth. Andrew and I have taken the whole thing apart many times, we have examined the motherboard looked closely over all the chips we could find, and we even tried hitting it. Nothing seems to work. The iMac just starts to boot up but stops before even the monitor turns on. I tried to put a restore cd in but I can't even get it to turn on anymore. If you have any ideas than please e-mail me and tell me. My e-mail address is fireball288@aol.com.

The Answer

Who knows what the answer is? Not me or Andrew of course. Until then we will both conitinue to bang our heads against the wall, hit things very hard to see if they start to work again, and talk to a table for a week and record its reactions.
