"TRIBUTE" Since this project was started in 2000, the "creator" of SMILEY, Harvey R. Ball (1922-2001), has passed away. Mr. Ball created the famous "Smiley" in 1963 for an insurance company and was paid the paltry sum of $45.00 (correct).
