Twelve years ago I discovered the airbrush, a wonderful
tool. Although there are only a couple of examples in my galleries,
I'm hoping to add more later. Airbrushing is still a hobby to my
profession as a millworker(making custom moldings, windodws, and countertops).
Most of the art work on my site is original line
drawings and renderings and more mixed media as well as some of
my woodworking and carving to be add later.
Some of the tools I use are :
- Pencil (mechanical and a good ol' #2)
- Airbrush ( I partial to the Badger single action ,but I'm learnig to branch out to others for accessiblity
of parts in my area .)
- iphoto plus ( I got with my scanner , another wonderful
tool. )
- PaintShopPro5/Blade Pro ( My sister turned me on to this and
the psp animation samples of this are to be added later .)
- Micrografx Simply 3d 3 ( I've always wanted to see my
characters in 3d . This progam doesn't get me there
but I will be using it to create landscapes and other
animation.)
- Woodwork ( to be added later) tools ; bandsaw ,tablesaw ,table
mounted routers, plainers , joiners ,Dremel rotory
tools , utility knife , sand paper , and broken glass.
the broken glass is used as a smoothing tool , a trick my
dad taught me .
I will be adding to this list because I still want to see my characters in 3d ! (I've found a program and have a computer large enough to use it, now all I need is to get my hands on the program .)
Enjoy My site and let me know how you like it.
