James Poe Harden was born 1778 in North Carolina and died 1851 in Pike County, Georgia.  He was a farmer according to the census.  His children:

2.  Hilliard Judge married Mary Cook

3.  Elizabeth married a Thompson

4.  Mary married a Grier

5.  Hiram D. married Williamson 

James Poe’s second wife was Matilda Richardson according to the census of Georgia for Greene County.  They were the parents of:

1.  Rovarsha Love

2.  Sarah

3.  James

4.  Isabel who married William Thomas Goddard, a minister.

5.  Elizabeth

6.  Thomas Ira

HILLIARD JUDGE HARDEN 

Hilliard Judge Harden was born March 12, 1810 and died September 18, 1876.  He married Mary Cook in Pike County April 14, 1835.  Mary Cook was born September 4, 1816 and died about 1900.  Mary Cook is buried in New Hope Cemetery, Pike County, Georgia.  Their children were:

1.  William Harmon Harden born April 24, 1836.

2.  Sarah Virginia born Dec. 12, 1838

3.  Margaret born May 9, 1841

4.  Susan R. born Feb. 17, 1843

5.  Cynthia C. born March 25, 1845

6.  Washington Poe born Dec. 25, 1846

7.  Mary C.

8.  Elizabeth born Aug. 12, 1849

9.  Wilson born May 14, 1856

10.  Mary Zelma born Dec. 2, 1861 (died in infancy)

11.  Arie Z.  born April 13, 1859

SEABORN JUDGE TECUMSEH HARDEN 

Seaborn was born November 15, 1871, in Pike County, Georgia. He died March 26, 1938, and is buried in Old Prospect Cemetery, in Ben Hill County (near Fitzgerald, Ga.)  and his grave is marked.  He married first Nancy Lewis on January 18, 1900, and to this union was born:

1.  Annie Bell born December 15, 1900, who married Homer Johnson

2.  Lewis Osborne born October 11, 1902, and married Mary Royal  

     He died September 2, 1975 and is buried in the Whitley Cemetery,

     Irwin County, Georgia.

3.  Mary Gladys born July 5, 1906 and married Justin Paul Stone 

Nancy Lewis was born May 16, 1880 and died January 20, 1910. 

Seaborn Judge Harden married second: Esther Ola Lee who was born in Pulaski County, Georgia, August 11, 1884.  They were married at the home of her parents, John Franklin and Josephine Barlow Lee, on June 28, 1911.  To this union was born: 

1.  William Harmon Harden (Pete) born May 9, 1912.  Died November 26,

     1977 in Venice, Florida

            2.  John Henry Harden (Repete) born May 9, 1912, died December 6, 1982 in Athens,

                 Georgia

                        William Harmon married Mary Brewster

                        John Henry married Juanita Puckett of Irwinton, Georgia.

3.  Seaborn James Harden was born April 21, 1914 and married Marguerite

     Willcox of Eastman, Georgia

            4.  Dorothy Josephine Harden was born November 21, 1915 and married

                James S. Royal

            5.  Betty Sarah Harden was born October 13, 1923 and married Carl Jowers
