Week One: Getting started: How to Create A Simple Form
Download a simple text editor.
I didn't need to do this. I will use Notepad which comes with Win98.
Create a simple form. (It's not very impressive yet.)
Week Two: Text Input, Check Boxes and Radio Buttons
Design a simple form (The Liar's Survey) to poll users about a major issue confronting your country or the world as we head into the next millinium. Include at least four questions, two radio buttons and two check boxes, input fields for name and age.
Week Three: Images, Pull Down Lists and Text Boxes
Design a simple quiz using one or more images (The Survey of Contrasts), a pull down list or a scrolling list with at least four options, and a TEXTAREA input box. I had already done Textareas in the last lesson and I couldn't think of a quiz. I sure learned a lot this week. I learned some more table and button conflicts with Netscape and Internet Explorer. I did my best to get my form to be comparable in both browsers.
Week Four: Hidden Input and Submit Buttons
Design a simple form that makes use of at least two HIDDEN input fields and a graphic in place of SUBMIT button. Test your form using either the mailto option or a mail form script. A Good Night, a survey to help you plan. I made the graphics myself they are supposed to be impressionistic Peacock feathers, see if you can tell. My son called them fish.
Week Five: Forms, Forms and More Forms!
Study the review information and get ready for the final.
